Crimson College of Technology (CCT) has been established in 2000 AD by a group of dedicated academicians from different educational backgrounds like IT, management, professionals from health-sciences and engineers. The college is currently running BBA, BCA, BCIS , Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.PHARM) and B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology (BMLT) programs affiliated to Pokhara University (PU). Course Description

Medical Laboratory Technology is one of the largest and most important professions that provide allied health care. A Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Lab Technology is a four-year degree that prepares a student to take a job as a clinical laboratory scientist (technologist) upon graduation or to further their education by entering medical or dental school. These technologists are skilled scientists who perform tests that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. As vital members of the health care team, they assist physicians during the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Career Opportunities:

Career as a Medical laboratory technician/technologist offer you the opportunity to have a significant impact on patient care, without actually interacting with patients. With required skill you can find yourself employed in a hospital, minor emergency centers, private laboratory, blood donor centers, doctor’s office or clinics. You can aim to become a technologist in due time and work experience. Medical lab technicians can also find jobs in research facilities, crime laboratories, universities, pharmaceutical companies and military. Course Description

BBA is a four-year (8 Semester), Bachelor level program of Pokhara University. It prepares students as professional who have knowledge, skills, confidence and motivation to perform competitively in organizations of the modern age.

Course Description

BCA Program  is a four-year (8 Semester) academic program which focuses on the utilization of the concepts of information technology to solve organizational problems. The students will acquire required skills for system development, database and information system design, network design and integration of these skills for problem solving BCA curriculum is flexible enough to meet the student background and career aspiration.

Program Objectives:

The BCA program is designed to impart both theoretical and practical knowledge in computing. On completion of this course, students will:

  • demonstrate professional competence in developing software and in the design and implement of complex computer and information systems.
  • be able to demonstrate a substantial understanding of concepts of key areas of computer application.
